We’re going to cover on-stream essentials – what and how you need to carry stuff while you’re on the water. Weather permitting, we’re going to go outside and do a demonstration on mending.
Although I have strongly suggested that you use a single fly, basic configuration to start, I would like to at least expose you to a couple of options as your skills increase that your can use in the future.

Time permitting, there is another short video that I think would be worthwhile viewing. Bring the hand-outs that were given at today’s meeting to next week’s class as well.
When we get closer to spring, Dick has volunteered to do another casting clinic to get you ready for fishing this summer. So stayed tuned for that.

We will also decide on topics to be discussed at our next (and future) fishing group meetings. So be sure to bring your suggestions on topics you want to cover in more detail.
